2024 Entertainment!
The Riverboat Days Committee has announced that Lit will be headlining the Saturday night concert along with special guest Diamante at the 2024 Riverboat Days and Summer Arts Festival held August 16-18 in Riverside Park, Yankton, SD.
Lit helped define an entire generation of SoCal power punk with hard-charging hits like “My Own Worst Enemy,” “Miserable," "Zip-Lock,", and "Lipstick & Bruises." The band has released 6 worldwide studio albums.
Their biggest hit, "My Own Worst Enemy," is a popular karaoke song, one of the most recognizable rock hits of the last 20 years, and won them a Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Song of the Year.
Diamante knows what it means to shine genuinely. With a show-stopping voice, runwayready fashion swagger, and an empowering message, the Boston-raised and Los Angeles-based Mexican-Italian-American siren brings a new fire to rock and alternative music.
Diamante spent her teenage years cutting her teeth at local gigs on the Sunset Strip, and over the recent years, has toured extensively with bands like Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin,Three Days Grace, The Pretty Reckless, and more to become the powerhouse performer she is today.
This year’s Riverboat Days theme is “A Journey Through History: The Magnificent Meridian” coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Yankton’s Meridian Bridge.
