2024 Parade Application
The 41st annual Riverboat Days celebration will be August 16-18, 2024 and we hope you will be a part of this Historical weekend. Saturday events include the parade starting at 9:30AM and the theme this year is : “A Journey through History, The Magnificent Meridian.” Just like in recent history, registration will be on-line again this year through Active.com (same as last year). Register by clicking the button below and click on the plus sign and then continue to get started with the registration form. Both the fee and the insurance indemnification form will be collected through the registration website. Once registered, please e-mail wwayne@vyn.midco.net with a copy of your insurance card covering your entry.
This year's theme “A Journey through History, The Magnificent Meridian” has many decorating possibilities. We hope your journey through history can help you come up with a magnificent float! Use your imagination and be creative when planning and building your parade entry so we can give our parade lovers a Magnificent show! We expect you to decorate and the “More the Meridian-er.”
Safety Note: Due to liability issues and for the safety of the children along the parade route, you can't throw candy or other items from your float nor can your walkers throw them. Your walkers may hand your items to viewers along the route. If you do throw items, you will be allowed to stay in the parade but your items will be taken.
